Organization Background

Safe Care Homes Group, Inc. (SCHG) is Georgia nonprofit 501(c)(3) supportive housing
organization, located in Atlanta. The mission of SCHG is to
provide safe and affordable homes for those in need. In collaboration with 2 other Board of
Directors, Mr. Campbell has dedicated the past year of his life giving back and helping low-
income metro Atlanta residents avoid homelessness. In doing so, we are fulfilling our mission
each day by providing affordable housing solutions so that people can recover from debt, save
money, and regain their barring in life in safety and with dignity. We are committed to this work
because believe that homelessness is a public health concern that can be solved with the right
supports in place.

Who we help

SCHG housing solutions is available to metro Atlanta adults in need of our services, without
regard to race, age, ethnicity, gender, gender-identity, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.
We house:
 Men and women
 Veterans
 The elderly
 Individuals with mental or physical disabilities (who do not require nursing care)

Governance

SCHG is governed by an active Board of Directors, made up of 3 dedicated individuals who
oversee the organization’s fiscal management. The Board is also responsible for developing
the organization’s strategic plan, in addition to overseeing program activities to ensure
alignment with its vision, mission, and goals.

Partners

Partnerships are essential to the fulfillment of our organizational goals. We partner with trusted
community organizations within metro Atlanta to ensure sustainability, programmatic success,
continuous support, and to increase our reach. In addition, we prioritize working with partners to
promote innovation and the adoption of best practices; improved effectiveness, efficiency, and
accountability within the very segments of the special needs’ population where our support is
needed most.
Key partnerships include homeless outreach teams and public health outreach workers; state
and local health departments; homelessness service systems; community-based organizations;
housing authorities, and emergency planners; People experiencing homelessness themselves.

Partner List
1. Action Ministry – for nutritious meals to individuals and families in our community that are
hungry.
2. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) – for free transportation to VA medical facilities for
injured and ill veterans.
3. Laundry Love – to wash clothes and bedding of low-income/no-income families and
individuals.
4. US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)- for options to veterans seeking treatment for
substance abuse.
5. Salvation Army – for clothing.
6. Goodwill or North GA – for job placement and training.
7. Furniture Bank – for unit furnishing
8. Tameka’s House of Hope – for program food.
